Water feature in Finneytown

This garden is adjeacent to the extensively used patio in the rear of this quiet backyard in Finneytown.

The customers wanted a water feature for the sound and ambiance. There were several laundry tubs sunk into the ground here when we started. They wanted a nice home for their new lotus plant so we created a small pond with a 30" deep center to accomosate the lotus and 12" deep side shelves for marginals. A small recirculating pump was also added for a soft rippling sound effect.

all done! The customer later added mulch to the edges making the feature seamless in the landscape.
